The extensive $16 million renovation project required removal of asbestos, lead, and all drywall. In addition, all new electric, HVAC, and plumbing were installed. Safety features such as seismic upgrades and addition of fire sprinklers were included, along with new drywall, roof, cabinets, and granite counter tops.
